BATTERIES
High-drain lithium-ion cells for box mods and external-battery devices. NYX Vape stocks Hohm Tech and Efest cells in 18650 and 20700 sizes, chosen because both brands publish tested continuous-discharge ratings rather than the inflated figures common on generic rewraps.
Two numbers matter when choosing a cell: capacity in mAh, which decides how long it runs, and the continuous discharge rating in amps, which decides how hard you can safely push it. Both are listed for every cell below. Free shipping across Canada on orders over $99.

Which Vape Battery is Right for You?
Start with your device manual, not this page. The cell size and minimum amp rating your mod requires are set by the manufacturer. Nothing below overrides that.
Best for a standard single-battery mod - The Hohm Tech Life 18650. It is the most widely compatible size and its 22.1A continuous rating covers ordinary regulated use comfortably.
Best for the longest time between charges - The Hohm Tech Sherlock 20700 at 3116 mAh, the highest capacity cell on this page, provided your mod takes 20700 cells.
Best for amp headroom - The Hohm Tech Sherlock 20700 again, at 33.7A continuous, the highest discharge rating stocked here.
For dual-battery mods - Buy two identical cells from the same purchase, use them only as a pair, charge them together and replace them together. Mixing cells of different age or brand is the most common cause of uneven performance.
Battery Safety Essentials
Never carry a loose cell in a pocket or bag. Contact with keys or coins can short it. Use a plastic battery case.
Inspect the wrap. A torn or nicked wrap exposes the negative casing and must be re-wrapped or the cell retired. Do not use a cell that has been dropped hard, dented, or that runs hot in use.
Stay inside the continuous discharge rating. The figures above are continuous ratings, not pulse ratings. Running a cell inside its real rating keeps it cool and extends its service life.
Charge on a proper charger. An external multi-bay charger cuts off at full charge, reports status per bay, and keeps dual-battery pairs matched. See our chargers.
Match the size to the device. An 18650 will rattle in a 20700 bay and a 20700 will not fit an 18650 bay at all. Check the manual.

Frequently Asked Questions
What batteries does NYX Vape carry?
We stock Hohm Tech and Efest high-drain lithium-ion cells in 18650 and 20700 sizes. Capacity and continuous discharge ratings for each are in the comparison table above.
Which battery does my device need?
Your device manual specifies the size and the minimum continuous discharge rating. Most regulated box mods take 18650 cells, and some take 20700. Never fit a size the device was not designed for.
What does the amp rating mean?
It is the continuous current the cell can safely deliver. Running a mod that draws more than the cell is rated for makes it run hot and shortens its life. The ratings quoted here are the manufacturers own tested continuous figures.
Can I mix batteries in a dual-battery mod?
No. Use two identical cells bought together, charge them together and replace them together. Mixing brands, capacities or ages leads to uneven discharge, which is both a performance and a safety problem.
How do I store and carry spare batteries?
In a rigid plastic battery case, never loose in a pocket or bag where they can short against keys or coins. Keep them out of direct heat and away from children.
When should I replace a vape battery?
When the wrap is torn or damaged, when the cell has been dropped hard or dented, when it runs noticeably hot, or when runtime has dropped well below what it used to give. A damaged cell is retired, not repaired.
Where can I buy vape batteries in Canada?
NYX Vape ships across Canada with free shipping on orders over $99, offers same-day delivery in the Toronto GTA, and carries cells at all six Ontario retail locations.
