GHOST MEGA VS. GCORE 1800

The popularity of disposable vapes has been on the rise for the last few years, and with so many companies wanting to get in on the action, it seems like there are new products hitting the market every week. We love options, but in an industry where everything is always changing, it can be hard to know which product is going to work best for you. In this blog we’re going to compare two major players in the disposable vape world, the Gcore 1800 and the Ghost Mega, to hopefully give you a better idea of what the options are.
Starting with Gcore, the company was founded in 2018 and only recently became popular in western canada’s vape market. The Gcore 1800 is a sleek, portable device that contains 6ml of eliquid and a 1050mAh battery, which means it can be used for roughly1800 puffs. 1800 puffs is by no means the largest or longest lasting device on the market right now, however the Gcore 1800 does offer 24 different flavour options, making this device ideal for people just starting out with disposables, who want a lot of variety with low commitment. Unfortunately it can be a struggle to find the Gcore devices outside of western canada, and with it being slightly more expensive than other devices of its size at $22.00, I’m not confident that a few extra flavors justify the effort of the search.
Now for Ghost. Ghost has been popular in Ontario for some time now, with their devices available at most specialty vape stores in and around the GTA. Recently Ghost released their newest and largest device to date; the Ghost Mega. Running on a 1500mAh battery, and containing 9ml of e-liquid, the Ghost Mega is one of the longest lasting and most powerful disposables on the market, offering 3000 puffs per device. The Ghost Mega is currently available in 9 of Ghost’s 27 flavors. It’s also a cost effective option for its size, retailing for $22.99. Taking into account the size of the device, the flavour options, and its widespread availability, the Ghost Mega is an ideal device for people who use disposables regularly and don’t want to worry about their device dying on them midway through the day.
Every brand of disposable has its own benefits and drawbacks. What works for one person might not work for another, but hopefully this breakdown of two popular disposable brands helped answer some questions about what’s on the market right now and which option will work best for you.
