VOOPOO ARGUS XT & MT STARER KIT CRC : OVERVIEW

VOOPOO has recently introduced the latest addition to the ARGUS family with two different versions, the ARGUS MT and ARGUS XT starter kits! Both of these ARGUS kits offer enhanced portability and unique features. In this article, we will compare the ARGUS MT and ARGUS XT to help you determine which one is right for your vaping needs.
Contents of VOOPOO Starter Kit:
The contents of the ARGUS MT starter kit are: the ARGUS MT device, a TTP-X Tank with a 5mL capacity, one DM2 coil rated for 40w-60w, one DM4 coil rated for 32w-40w, a TYPE-C charging cable, and a user manual.
The ARGUS XT starter kit includes: the ARGUS XT device, a 18650 battery sleeve, a TTP-X Tank with a 5mL capacity, one DM1 0.15ohm mesh coil rated for 60w-80w, one DM2 coil rated for 40w-60w, a TYPE-C charging cable, and a user manual.
Hardware:
The VOOPOO ARGUS MT and ARGUS XT are both rated IP68, making them rugged and resistant to water, dust, and drops, making them an ideal choice for those working in construction or prone to dropping their devices.
The TPP-X tank is included in the starter kit, with a 5mL capacity and unique two-part design. The tank has a bottom 510 thread and holds different styles of the VOOPOO PNP/TPP/TPP-X series magnetic pod tanks, and the airflow can be adjusted at the bottom with a 360-rotation airflow system. The TTP-X magnetic tank has a removable 810 mouthpiece, takes DM series coils, and is made of PCTG and stainless steel material for liquid containment.
Filling the TTP-X tank is simple, as it is top-fill, just semi-press the button on top clockwise to reveal a silicone stopper for filling, then rotate the top piece counterclockwise to close the exposed silicone plug when finished.
The VOOPOO ARGUS XT and ARGUS MT are both equipped with the GENE.TT 2.0 chip, which offers different modes and will be discussed further.
Chipset GENE.TT 2.0:
The GENE.TT 2.0 chip is a key feature in both the VOOPOO ARGUS MT and ARGUS XT devices. This chipset is known for its 5 crucial capabilities:
- Steady performance - regardless of battery life, the chip maintains a consistent power level.
- Precision control - the chip provides precise readings on different coils and the optimal power range for atomizers.
- Quick-fire ignition - the "SUPER BOOST" function enables an instant taste of flavour and cloud production.
- Longer vape time - the chip regulates both batteries for balanced output and maximizes battery usage.
- Multiple modes - the GENE.TT 2.0 offers four different modes to accommodate all types of vapers. The modes are: SMART (automatically reading coils), RBA (customizable power), TURBO (maximum vapor), and TC (temperature control for Ni, Ti, and SS).
Differences:
The ARGUS MT has an integrated 3000mAh battery for convenient use and is charged via TYPE-C. It also has a lock switch with two functions: sliding to the right locks the entire device, while sliding to the left only locks the buttons.
On the other hand, the ARGUS XT has the option to use either a 18650 battery using the provided battery sleeve or a 21700 battery, giving users the choice between battery capacity and performance. The XT's safety lock switch has three options: moving it to the left locks all buttons, keeping it in the middle leaves everything fully operational, and moving it to the right only locks the +/- buttons but not the power button.
Navigation:
When the device is activated, you'll be able to see the currently selected mode, as well as a puff counter, coil resistance reader, voltage output reader, and a timer that displays the length of time you've been vaping in seconds.
The power button is positioned at the top of the screen and can be turned on and off with five clicks. The (+)/(-) buttons are located at the bottom of the screen and are used to adjust the power level in increments.
To access the menu, you need to press and hold both the (+) and (-) buttons at the same time. Use the (+) and (-) buttons to navigate the menu, and press the power button to confirm your selected option.
The lock mechanism on the ARGUS XT is located at the top of the device, while the lock mechanism on the ARGUS MT is situated on top of the (+)/(-) increment adjustment buttons.
