New Nicotine Strengths - BOLD SERIES

Canada Wide Nicotine Cap
As the date closes in for the Ontario Wide Nicotine cap, we would like to remind all customers that the federal government is capping all nicotine strengths at 20mg/mL. In response to this, starting after July 23rd, we will no longer be carrying any e-liquids with nicotine strengths over 20mg/mL.
The decision comes after many months of deliberation from the Canadian government over whether vaping products pose a potential risk to minors. According to data from the 2018-2019 Canadian Student Tobacco, Alcohol and Drugs Survey roughly 20% of students had used an e-cigarette or vaping device in the last 30 days. The government asserts that the higher nicotine levels available in some vaping products are attractive to young people who are more susceptible to nicotine addiction. A complete outline of the new Nicotine Concentration in Vaping Products Regulations will be published in the Canadian Gazette on july 23rd for anyone interested in learning more about how these regulations will affect them.
Alternative solutions
Although this may be tough there are few things we recommend to help alleviate the stress of the upcoming nicotine cap:
- Switching to 20mg salts and to an adjustable wattage device: By increasing the wattage of your vape, in most cases, it can make the juice hit similarly to a 35mg/50mg nicotine juice.
- Transition from Salt-nic juice to Freebase juice: If you're an individual who vapes solely for the purpose of oral fixation and want a harsh throat hit, we recommend that you vape 6mg to 18mg on a variable wattage Starter Kit or Pod Mod device.

In response to the new Canada Wide Nicotine Cap
In response to the federal nicotine cap NYX ECIGS will be replacing the current 35mg and 50mg nicotine strengths with 20mg BOLD SERIES. The BOLD SERIES e-liquid strengths is a mixture of Freebase and Salt specifically designed to replace the previous 35MG & 50MG Nicotine Strengths. Whilst maintaining the 20MG threshold, the BOLD SERIES will provide a throat hit similar to any traditional 35MG & 50MG salt based e-liquids. The BOLD SERIES nicotine will maintain the same PG/VG ratio as the previous 35mg and 50mg eliquids.
In addition to the new BOLD SERIES brands such as STLTH have announced new, lower nicotine options for their pre-filled pods. STLTH will now be available in 0mg, 12mg, and 20mg.
